Quick Connect: CD-ROM Tool to Discover Individual Spiritual Needs of Youth.
Published in Audio CD by Group Publishing Inc (January, 2000)
Average review score:

One of a kind toolIn our program of working with kids it has been hit or miss. Quick Connect helped us see exactly where kids were so we could appropriately respond to them. It's a one of a kind CD Rom tool, and kids love it too!
A wonderful resourceWe began using this to track kids in our youth programs, and have it invaluable. We're able to get a much better handle on where kids are developmentally and spiritually - according to them - and then link our mentors with them so that real change can begin to happen. Haven't seen anything like this before. I highly recommend it!

Rampage
Published in Hardcover by Ulverscroft Large Print Books (June, 1992)
Average review score:

A Gripping Page-Turner Full of SuspenseJustin Scott's rampage is an excellent book. For all of you out there who love mafia stories - this is the book. It follows the stories of two brothers who take different paths to bring down the mafia for revenge. It is full of suspense and Scott really makes the characters come to life. I love mafia films but don't read crime books but this one I couldn't put down. I found it hard to break away from it. I highly recommend it.
This book keeps me looking for more titles by John Scott. Two brothers taking totally different tracks to gain vengence. The characters become very real. Scott weaves a detailed and interesting story. I DO NOT read crime books, but this is worth the time and effort, one of the few books I will read more than once.

Raptor Without a Cause
Published in Library Binding by Turtleback Books Distributed by Demco Media (January, 2000)

Scott definitely has been a busy writer!I have worked with scott before he became famous and know that he is a brilliant writer. I hope Scott reads this because I have been trying to get back in touch with him to no avail! Scott, if you are reading it's Steve Shepard here and I'm back in Sarasota and want to get back in touch with you. drop me a line. my e-mail is tranquil_union@yahoo.com
I'v e been to the bookstores and have seen a lot of your books and find the characters to be believable and empathetic. Young people seem to really enjoy your style and ability to create surprise, mystery and excite, all the while weaving very grounded principles and morals to the stories.
Great Work!!!!!!
Steven.
Return to the DinoverseIn this third installment in the Dinoverse series, the time machine that caused all the chaos in the first two books flares to life once again, bringing three new teenagers and a teacher back to the time of the dinosaurs. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, and highly recommend them. These books show young readers the value of friendship, as each teen must put aside their personal problems to help one another, so they can all return to the present day safely. The teens also begin to see their teacher as a trusted friend rather than just another adult authority figure. These books would be great for boys who may not be interested in reading; they contain a lot of adventure and excitement. These books also present good values associated with friendship and "fitting in" with a peer group as a teen.

Rarely Pure and Never Simple

Great Book Scott..wish I'd met you..I love this book so much, where to begin. First, Scott O'hara was an original.Just from his writing, which is the only way I have to know him,he was a multifaceted and complicated guy. His writing speaks volumes about his love for freedom, both freedom to do what he wanted, and freedom from the more repressive elements of gay culture.
As a libertarian, I appreciate Scott's ability to see things with his own unique gay libertarian-antiauthoritarian viewpoint.
I have been moved by his writings to embrace more risk taking, more loving, and more open expression of myself and sexuality as a result of reading this work.Isn't this what life is all about?
I do wish they had been able to cure his Non-Hodgkins lymphoma,my own mom has it.
Definitely a good read and a keeper.

The Last Words of Scott O'HaraAnd witty, wise and wonderful words they are too. This has to be the most overlooked gay nonfiction title of the year. The cover and title aren't as titillating as the first volume of his memoirs, "Autopornography," but the writing's better. Scott shares with us the story behind STEAM magzine, the messy messy inside dirt on "Making Porn" (the play and movie inspired by his own porn star career), and his thoughts on approaching death. Typical of Scott, though, it's anything but depressing or maudlin. A sexy, smart, funny and inimitably shocking read from a gay icon who is sorely missed.

Recipes for an Arabian Night: Traditional Cooking from North Africa and the Middle East
Published in Paperback by Random House Trade Paperbacks (June, 1984)
Average review score:

great book, but what happened to that price? This is a great Middle Eastern cook book that has served me well forten years. Thought I'd replace my copy but had a little sticker shockover the price.
Anyway the recipes are great, especially the mezzeor appetizers. I make the hummus and the baba ghanooj all the time(the pages are really stained there). END
Authentic, Luscious and easy to follow and prepareI borrowed this book from a friend 4 years ago and copied two of the recipes There is one for Cous Cous which is excellent and easy to prepare and the sauce is wonderful. I had an opportunity to go to an authentic Morrocan restaurant and was surprised how much my Cous Cous tasted like theirs and I used his recipe and I have finally found the book after looking for so long

GREAT!I loved this book! it was the best out of all of them because it finally told you what happened 7 years ago. You had to read all of the books to figure it out! One time i read 2 of the books in one day! i love this series and its just the best!!!
What an AWESOME ending to one of the BEST series I've read!!All I can say is WOW. This series is AWESOME. You find out what happened on Peter's birthday 7 years ago..at the very end! I picked up the book and I couldnt put it down til i had finished every word! I was sad to see it end, but wow..what and awesome ending. The characters felt so real life in this series. After I bought the first book, I came home and read it in 2 hours! Since then, I've had to get the books 2 at a time. I wish Wallens would write an "epilogue" or something to it, even though at the end, you know its all going to be ok. The series itself is definatly a MUST READ for every teen.

Riders of the Storm : A Photographic Tribute to America's Surface Warriors
Published in Hardcover by International Intellectual Property Inc. (10 August, 2000)
Average review score:

RIDERS ROCKSIf you love ships, the Sea, 21st century warfare and the men and women who serve aboard Navy surface ships around the world...then you'll want this book on your coffee table. Brian Wolff's photos actually make you feel like you're part of this great sea-born adventure. This book rocks the waves!
Getting it rightThe book was able to convey a sense of what the 21st century Navy is up to, without being overly technical. The photography was excellent and covered a wide variety of jobs and missions that go into making the US Navy work. It is a pleasure to look at and read.
